Switchback Farms came to its inception in 2016, but we are a family farm that started at our current location four generations ago. Our great-grandmother started growing garlic in 1920 in the exact spot we started our seed production in 2016. 

We are very grateful to have had knowledge of growing, and exceptional soils passed down through generations. We’re always trying new techniques and methods to improve productivity while focusing on sustainable agriculture, being stewards of the land and emphasizing better environmental practices. 

We love what we do; helping people learn to be better growers to support their local communities is the cornerstone of our operation.
